We fly down to Texas for Jonathan's Bar Mitzvah on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, Alayne's parents make an engagement party for us. It was 80 or 85 degrees (Fahrenheit) and sunny for most of the weekend. Jason got sunburned on Saturday afternoon at the poolside. Allison's shoulders also got burned. Other than that, it was a great weekend for everyone.

We were all very happy to celebrate this weekend together in Texas. Saying goodbye to Grandma on Monday morning would be the last time I ever saw her. She was so happy to be able to be with us all on this joyous weekend, and I am thankful that she was able to be at the first engagement party for Alayne and me.

These photos certainly do not capture the entire weekend, as there are many people conspicuously missing from these photos, Aunt Carole, Jonathan, Uncle Steve & Aunt Rochelle, Sarah & Justin (and probably more people too). There were many, many digital cameras going all weekend. If you have more photos from the weekend that I can post, please email me and I can put them up.
Also, if you would like a print of any of these photos, I'd be happy to print them and mail it to you with our photo printer. The photo sizes on this website have been reduced for easy viewing on the web, but therefore won't print out as nice as the original, larger, photo files.
