Alayne and I decide to take week-long vacation and visit our friendly neighbors to the north, Canada. Below is the basic itinerary from our trip.
Day 1 - Saturday
- Drive from Boston to Mount Desert Island in Maine.
- Camp in Acadia National Park.
- Eat dinner in Bar Harbor and buy misc supplies.
Day 2 - Sunday
- Take the ferry from Mount Desert Island to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.
- Eat lunch in Yarmouth.
- Scenic drive along southern shore of Nova Scotia.
- Camp in Thomas Raddall Provincial Park.
Day 3 - Monday
- Drive to Caribou, Nova Scotia.
- Take ferry from Nova Scotia to Prince Edward Island.
- Drive to Charlottetown and check into hotel.
Day 4 - Tuesday
- Sight-seeing on Prince Edward Island.
Day 5 - Wednesday
- Sight-seeing on Prince Edward Island.
Day 6 - Thursday
- Sight-seeing on Prince Edward Island.
