On Wednesday, we took another driving tour. We meandered about a bit, went to the town of "Summerside", got a little lost, found our way, and just took it easy.

Back to the primary vacation page.

These cows are only some of the cows we saw on Prince Edward Island. That place has lots of cows.

The cows stood up to greet us.

This is part of the southern shore of Prince Edward Island, in the town of Argyle.

Alayne stands close to the top edge.

Jason is also close to the edge.

This photo was taken from a wooden staircase that led down to the beach.

Alayne stands next to a "waterfall."

A view of the beach. This is a color photograph.
If you look hard, you can see a heron standing in the water. And if you look really close, you can see the Loch Ness Monster.

We saw a star fish in a shallow pool of water on the beach.
Can you figure out which are the arms and which are the legs? (note: It might help if you look at the picture upside down)

Jason & Alayne pose for a photo on the beach.

Alayne is on the beach.

On the way back, we pass by the same waterfall. This time Jason poses for a picture next to it.

Alayne is checking her email at an "internet cafe" in back in Charlottetown. The internet is really slow in Canada.

Jason has to sit a long time while Alayne checks her email.

While we wait at the dinner table, a few sail boats sail on by.
